I have a fireplace with ancient stone on it, and want to take that off and build a floor to ceiling fireplace, maybe using tiles (ceramic). Does anyone have any thoughts or pictures of their own of something that’s not cheap, but not overly expensive either?

I have searched google, and only get the ancient style mantel fireplace images.
